UP, UP, AND AWAY ~ Stylized Surprise Proposal

We are so proud and excited to finally blog our Hot Air Balloon Themed photo shoot that we call, Up, Up, and Away!   It personally was one of the most fun shoots we have ever done.  Credit has to be given to the phenomenal talents of photographer, Jonathan Ivy Photography for the exquisite photos and Lottie Fowler, from Couture Events by Lottie, for her vision and hard work.   Here’s a snippet of what she had to say about this beautiful shoot…

Our sweet and staged proposal took place at the 6th Annual Celina Balloon Festival here in Texas. The day began with a picnic style setting of sweets. The table evoked happiness with bright flowers in turquoise mason jars, a beautiful turquoise vintage radio and yummy lollipops. This is where Tommy popped the question to his love, Cerly. From picnic baskets, globes and streamers, the shoot lacked nothing in sweetness and charm. Stationary details included letterpress cupcake toppers, bottle tags and “Fly Away With Me” banner. Once the couple finished up there, they headed to see the hot air balloon sights. They watched the sun set and cuddled as darkness fell. What a lovely couple!”

Please be sure and check out these amazing vendors that supplied their goods to making this shoot exceptional.......{shoot credits} Photography: Jonathan Ivy Photography // Design + Concept: Couture Events by Lottie // Vendor Coordination: After Yes // Stationary: Elefant Press // Treats: Sugar Bee Sweets // Vintage Rentals: Rent My Dust // Hair + Makeup: Lashes & Curls by Cerly // Calligraphy: The Left Handed Calligrapher // Floral: Nest Floral Studio

This is one of our favorite engagement sessions of all time!  We were so bless to have a small part in it with our vintage bike. But the real kudos go to,  Ryan Ray Photography and Stefanie Miles Events.

Richie and Linda's engagement photos were also published on The Wedding Chicks Blog.   They wanted their engagement session to be an invitation to all their family and friends from all over to travel to their wedding. The theme was by “Balloon, Boat, or Bike” get to their wedding. Be sure to see all of the images by clicking here.  Let us know what ya think!!!
