Sleeping Beauty

We just can't get enough of the modern themed styled shoots!  This one is the vision of Britney Benedict from Tucker Images.  Britney has a special way of telling a fairy tale in a modern day setting through her photo.  We call that an artist!!!  As you can see, she has done this again with a few props from Rent My Dust.  We were so so happy to have our items featured!  If you look close you can see our vintage metal bed with vintage linens.  Also notice our brass bladed fan and some other items on the night stand.  We are so thankful that Britney wanted to use our items and we hope that she will use them again.
Below is the Britney's very own Sleeping Beauty story.  Hope you enjoy!
"In a faraway land, long ago, there lived a King and his fair Queen. Many years they had longed for a child, and finally their wish was granted. A daughter was born, and they called her Aurora. Yes, they named her after the dawn, for she filled their lives with sunshine. And our story begins on that most joyful day...

I am so excited to share our latest fairy tale shoot with you! This one is extra special because we finally got to collaborate with out favorite vintage rental company in Dallas, Rent My Dust! Thank you, Rita! You are a rockstar!

My sweet friend, Ashlea, yet again rocked the hair and makeup. I never cease to be amazed with her talent! Our models, Mack and Patric were the perfect pair to play Sleeping Beauty and Prince Charming. They both are beautiful, fun loving and totally fierce at that! I couldn't be happier with how these turned out :)" ~ Britney Benedict

Mirror Mirror on the Wall......

We love to re-blog photo shoots for inspiration for our brides and for other photographers.   Today we are re-blogging a photo shoot from our wonderful friend,  Britney Benedict from Tucker Images.  We instantly fell in love with her work.  This shows how using the smallest amount of props and the right photographer can make your engagement shoot or Bridal shoots amazing!!  We hope you love it as much as we do.

Special thanks also go to makeup artist, Ashlea Vanderbilt.

Mirror Mirror On The Wall...

Lips as red as the as black as white as snow...

I vividly remember watching Snow White in my room horrified when I was a kid. I don't know if it was the queen or the witch or the mirror but it all scared me to my wits end and I didn't watch it again until I started doing a little research for out latest fairy-tale shoot. To this day the ride at Disneyland scares the bejeezus out of me{I know I'm a big baby!} However, I knew I couldn't leave this classic out of the fairy-tale line up. :) I sure am glad I put my big girl pants on, cowboyed up, and shot these because folks....they're some of my favorites ever! I know...I know...I say that every time. Anyway, I could not wait any longer to post! I apologize for the tease earlier this week ;)

Brandi did such an amazing job as Snow White and Ashlea, my makeup artist, rocked the role as the Wicked Queen!
Grab some popcorn, a blanket to cover your eyes {if you're a sissy like me}, sit, and scroll through our depiction of the scariest Disney Classic of all time!
Enjoy and let us know what you think! We love love feedback here at Tucker Images!
